I wanted to let you know that your photo shoot for our Christmas party was awesome. I was really impressed that you were willing to take picture outside n the cold with our horse and buggy rides. You also did a great job of impromptu pictures walking around the party of our guests. The cameo shots you took for the guests Christmas ornaments turn out nice also. I show dogs and needed pictures for my website, so I set up an appointment with Diana for a photo session. She photographed fifteen Labrador Retriever's ranging in ages from puppy to adult. I wanted a head shot and a profile shot of each dog. It took hours to get all the pictures taken as dogs, like children, don't always cooperate, so Diana had to take many shots of each dog. I never felt rushed or pressured to take less pictures because Diana was so patient and pleasant. When I got the photographs they were excellent. I got usable head and profile shots on almost every dog. By usable, I mean that the photo's captured what I wanted to be shown of each dog, and I am very particular, because my website is where other show breeders, service dog organizations, search and rescue organizations, and prospective puppy owners view my dogs. My website also attracts people looking for Labrador Retriever's to appear in advertisements, commercials, and movies, so how my dogs are displayed is extremely important. Diana has updated and maintained my website (sandialabradors.com) since February, 2013. I have shown dogs for 33 years, had many photography sessions with my dogs, and Diana is one of the most patient photographers I have worked with, in addition, to producing some of the best photographs I have had taken of my dogs.

I have been present at several photo shoots with Diana Diaz of Aylad's Photography. It is always a fun and interesting experience, she makes every one very comfortable (except when you are up to your * in the muddy edges of the Rio Grande! LOL). One of our kitties, Sean, was diagnosed with cancer, and we wanted to get some good pictures of him with his two feline sisters and us before he started showing symptoms. Diana was able to do the shoot at our house within three days of our submitting the request to Thumbtack. She arrived on time and spent several hours with us, letting the kitties shine in their own time. She even got pictures of all five of us together which, with three cats, is quite a feat. By the next day she sent us some email with small versions of thirty-six of the pictures she was editing. A few days after that she came back to our house and handed us two DVDs, one with over 120 edited, high-resolution, gorgeous full-sized photos and the other with over 400 high-resolution gorgeous full-sized unedited pictures. She gave us the choice between raw format or jpeg and not only permission but the suggestion to get them printed up ourselves in whatever size and format we wanted. There were no surprises with the price; what she quoted via Thumbtack was all-inclusive. We are extremely happy with the results, and plan to do future photo shoots with her when we next need them.
